LinkedIn Learning instructor, solo operator, selling cohort courses to business analysts

Published: 2026-08-03 · Data window: 12 Nov 2025 to 29 Jul 2026

In nine months Angela’s LinkedIn channel produced 1,165 conversations with business analysts and delivered 349 links to her course platform. She’s a LinkedIn Learning instructor with 2.4M+ learners who sells cohort courses. LinkyBot ran title-targeted outreach, a question-led opener, and an AI assistant that qualified prospects inside each thread.

Where did they start?

Angela teaches business analysts. She’d trained 2.4M+ learners through LinkedIn Learning and worked with 100+ organizations, so authority wasn’t the problem. Reach was. Her buyers sit one or two at a time inside hundreds of separate employers. Across nine months of outreach her conversations spanned 932 distinct companies, roughly 1.25 engaged people per company. There’s no account list to sell into and no single room where they gather. Every buyer has to be found individually, by role, then given a reason to answer.

What did we run?

Targeting by job title, seniority, and industry. Practicing business analysts and BA leaders, no volume spraying. The connection request sells nothing. On acceptance, a welcome message opens with a question about pressure to evolve their practice for AI, because that names a problem they already have. Message one follows three days later if there’s no reply, message two five days after that. Messages run 35 to 55 words. An AI assistant carries the thread in her voice, reads intent, and holds the offer back until the prospect signals interest. Free resources come first. Paid courses come up only after interest is established. Three campaigns run in parallel, split by audience.

What did they say?

“Meeting with [the platform] went well, He was focused on my b2b sales, and didnt understand that this is 90% of my customers, but very interested in b2b stuff, especially since BAs (my audience) almost all work in Fortune 100 orgs, and gov.”
